The second day Amy was in CA, we took her to the beach. It was Amy’s first trip to the ocean or any big water body for that matter. We did not know how well she will like water! Boy we were in for a shock!

It was finally time for Nikko & Pepper to go to bed. They usually start screaming to be taken to bed and today was no different. However, once I took them to their bed (cage) Nikko was not happy I was going to lock him up and almost bit me. If not for the numerous times he has bit me, I would not have been quick enough. Both of the birds were not happy, however resigned to the fact that they have to sleep. We will envy them once sleep deprivation starts to set in.

We do not want to sleep!!

With the temperatures going up, we got Amy a kiddie pool, to have some extra fun in the sun. She likes to lie down in it, after a hard evening’s ball chasing.For $3.99, it is one of the best things we have gotten for her!

Blogathon 2007 - Post 17 - 4.00 PM

Let me write this post while Bala takes a well deserved break! Amy has not been herself ever since we started Blogathon. Usually weekends are the days when she is happy for us to be at home with her. However, the thought of Mommy & Daddy being in front of computer all day has been bugging her the most. She has been a sad girl since morning, however we tried to play with her whenever she brought her toys over to us.

Imagine her joy when Mommy finally took a break and laid down on the floor with a comforter and invited Amy to join. She had identified her happiest part of the day. She cuddled endlessly with mommy and relished in the short and rare break of the day. - Shankar.

We are going Home! June 13, 2007

Things have recently changed for me at California and Amy and I are going to hit the road tomorrow, on a long drive back to Wisconsin. Shankar is also going to join us from LA, to help with the drive. We are really excited to be together again. However, we would miss all our friends here in CA. Especially Amy is going to miss Sephora a lot! Hence we have been spending the last few days with Sephora, her parents and the three cats. More soon on our trip to CA and back.
