One Dog and Two Birds

If we have to give credit to one thing that Amy has, that is absolutely awesome, thats the Kong! She loves it, no matter what it is filled with. We get the usual Kong stuffer for it, but also go for peanut butter or yogurt+peanut butter, as is, or frozen.

Amy knows the Kong by name and brings it to us when we either pull out the stuffer or ask for it. It is something more fun for her to do, when she is not walking around with a ball or a toy in her mouth.

The Kong is also a wonderful distraction that no other toy can create when we are leaving the house. Amy doesn’t care much when we leave for work, but if it is for anything else, she would want to go with us. And usually we take her wherever we go. However, with the temperatures below zero these days, leaving her home with the Kong is good for all of us.

When we were in Montgomery, Alabama, our friends got Amy a nice grooming kit, with fragrant shampoo, soap and spray. They are her favorite now and after seeing our friend Spencer in his Frog robe, Amy wanted pictures of her after a bath. She wanted to show off her beach towel! At least she has not asked for a new froggy robe, yet

We all have been so busy this fall, that Amy has been taking herself on walks!

Yesterday was Nikko’s first adoption day. We can’t believe it is already an year since the little guy came into our lives, and , that he is almost 3 years old! Nikko is getting a new happy hut and we all had loads of cinnamon coffee cake last night.

And tomorrow is Amy’s adoption day too! She already got a whole bunch of new toys, including, of course, a tennis ball. She has been going crazy with all the new toys to play with.

The biggest news of all is about Pepper. We have now officially adopted Pepper! She acts like she knows it too Overall, we need to have a big adoption day bash here.

What took you guys so long?

We had mentioned about Nikko enjoying ice-cream and popsicle in our previous posts. Here is a cool, less than a minute video of Nikko enjoying a lime flavored popsicle.

Its Apple season again and our tree in the front yard is loaded with apples. Its so heavy that one branch almost touches the ground.

Needless to say, there is a lot falling on the ground too and what do we do with them?
